thankful.

I am thankful for our new house in Cardiff, CA

I am thankful for our comfy couch and warm fireplace which has already been used for a cozy Thanksgiving fire.

He is thankful we live on a cul-de-sac so he can play cars outside.

I am thankful for my nice big kitchen that helped me cook a very delicious Thanksgiving dinner.

I am thankful I didn't ruin my first turkey and everything turned out great.

I am thankful we got to share the day with friends and family.  Brody's cousin Ben, his girlfriend Anna and our friend Tucker were at the dinner table with us this year.

I am most thankful for this little guy.

I am thankful that I got chosen to sit at the kids table.

And finally, I am very thankful that we still have this furry guy at our door.  After a fatal dose of raisins we weren't sure if he was going to be with us.

God is good.
Happy Thanksgiving!

New backyard fun.

Everyone seems to be enjoying the new backyard.

The green grass is soft.

The new ugg boots keep our feet warm.

So warm, that we don't feel the need to wear pants.

There is even a dirt trail for riding cars.

The view is beautiful.

We let Mommy know when we want to come inside.

Seriously Mom, let me in!

We are enjoying CA so far, especially our new backyard.

cousins

We made it to San Diego!  It was a rough trip, but we are here.  We got to spend a few days with the Agnews before we headed to CA which was a lot of fun.  Well, the first two days were fun, then Jonah and I got the stomach flu - which was anything but fun!  We also had bad news with Brody's van which broke down in Tennessee and needed a new engine.  Not a cheap fix.  In fact, the van is still in TN awaiting a shipment to Ohio where it will get a new engine.  Brody will have to fly to Ohio to then drive cross country again.  Yes, it's been fun.

Jonah is still having some stomach issues and doesn't seem to be tolerating dairy, so we are dealing with long nights as he has been throwing up each night still.  I am working on finding a pediatrician, but for now, I have decided to boycott milk until his stomach is strong enough to handle.  He seems to do fine with it during the day, just not at night - it's really strange.

Despite car troubles, stomach troubles and everything in between we are settled into our new home in CA.  The house is great, the neighborhood even better.  It is actually really good to be back.  I forgot how much I missed San Diego!  I promise to post some pictures of the new house soon, but for now, here are some cute pictures of Jonah with the Agnew girls!

Jonah and Lilly were fast friends.

trick or treat.

Jonah and I had a fun Halloween!  Brody's out of town, so we hung out with friends and made it to a few houses before we were all tuckered out.

We honored our military this year and decided to dress up like Uncle J. Agnew.  Jonah needs to get used to service men and women as we will be seeing a lot of them in the very military San Diego.  His love for planes also motivated me for the costume and he wore it well.

Here are some pictures of our fun night of dress up and candy munching!

We needed to do a good teeth brush before we indulged in lots of candy!

Major Agnew reporting for duty!

Jonah and Matthew - Jonah is soooo in love with Matthew, he is really going to miss him when we move:(

Cupcakes - the perfect appetizer to a night full of sugar!

A little pre-trick o treat game of pigskin.

The gang before we hit the streets!

See look at Jonah....he just loves Matthew!

First house!!!  And pretty much last house as the older kids can stay up late but my no-napping toddler needs to hit the sack early these days...

On to the next house....hope everyone had a sugary, sweet and spooky Halloween!
