Rejoice.

For He is Risen.

Easter is a favorite time of year for me.  It is the start of Spring: the flowers are in bloom, the weather is idyllic and new life is emerging at every corner.

While I do enjoy the egg hunts, honey baked ham and all that yummy chocolate, this year I really wanted to focus on Christ and what he did for me at the cross.

Easter means nothing is too dead to live again.  Friday is sad.  Saturday we wait.  And Sunday we REJOICE!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16
